Pricing

Trap Stats is free to use today. This page shows the tier structure we're planning for the future, so clubs can see what's coming before it applies to them.

Nothing here is live yet. Sign-up, scoring, leaderboards, and AI scoresheet extraction are all free and unlimited right now for every organization. The numbers below are our provisional plan for when billing eventually goes live — not something you can sign up for today.
Always free, every tier

Manual round entry, leaderboards, stats, round history, and achievement badges never require a paid plan. The only thing pricing ever applies to is AI scoresheet extraction — photographing a handwritten scoresheet and letting a vision model read it into a round for you — since that's the one feature with a real, ongoing cost to run.

Switch between Monthly and Annual above to compare — annual billing works out to 15% less than paying monthly. Every number on this page is provisional and subject to change before billing goes live.

Why gate on AI extraction, and not the rest of the app?

Reading a photographed scoresheet with a vision model is the one feature in Trap Stats that costs real money to run every time it's used. Everything else — logging a round by hand, viewing leaderboards, pulling up history, computing badges — runs entirely on our own server and costs essentially nothing no matter how much a club uses it. Pricing follows the cost, not the value: the free tier's 100 extractions/month is sized generously above what a real, active club league needs in an average month, so most organizations should never see an upgrade prompt at all.

Frequently asked

What counts as one "extraction"?
One photo of a scoresheet submitted for AI reading. Manually typing scores in — with or without a printed blank scoresheet in hand — never counts against the quota, on any tier.
What happens if our organization goes over its monthly quota?
Not decided yet, since billing isn't live. The two options on the table are a hard stop (extraction is disabled until the quota resets, with manual entry always available as a fallback) or a soft prompt to upgrade. Either way, nothing you've already logged is ever at risk.
Is this billed per shooter?
No — pricing is per organization, not per person. A club pays one flat fee regardless of how many teams or shooters it has.
Can we change tiers later?
That's the plan, once billing exists — upgrading or downgrading an organization's tier at any time, without losing any historical data.
Why does annual billing cost less?
Annual billing means fewer, larger transactions instead of twelve small ones — cheaper for us on payment-processing fees, and we pass that savings straight to you as the 15% discount shown above. Monthly stays available for orgs that would rather not commit for a full year up front.
